Synopsis

Kouji and his companions have vanquished Dr. Hell and are taking a rest, but a mysterious prophet appears to warn them of an impending threat. Strange mechanical beasts that have never been seen before suddenly emerge around the globe, causing chaos. Kouji must face this danger with his Mazinger Z, yet he appears greatly outnumbered and outmatched. This movie provides an alternative connection between the Mazinger Z television series and the Great Mazinger television series. It essentially introduces Great Mazinger and its foes from the Mikene Empire to viewers.
