Synopsis
Thought to have disappeared, ninjas have resurfaced in modern Japan after the Pacific War. Numbering around two hundred thousand, these skilled agents carry out secret operations and are deeply embedded in many government and corporate organizations. One of them is Kurou Kumogakure, a seventeen-year-old who typically passes his days in a run-down apartment, showing little drive for anything productive. He comes across as a lazy, unemployed youth who mainly swipes beer from his neighbor. But looks can be misleading; Kurou has hidden ninja abilities. His skills are put to the test when he is assigned a new mission: infiltrating a nearby high school. This task proves far more complicated than anticipated.
