Synopsis
An intense wave of internet addiction grips the country's youth, leading many to become overly dependent on the virtual realm. Those deemed beyond recovery are confined to the Elite Reeducation Academy, intended to rehabilitate them into functional adults. Hibiki, a teenager suffering from this affliction, awakens at the academy without recollection of how he got there. The head instructor informs him that he was brought to the academy in a coma-like state at his mother’s insistence, as she feared his growing aggression due to his addiction. Feeling trapped in what seems more like a prison than an educational institution and unable to withstand the staff's harsh treatment, Hibiki contemplates ending his life by jumping from the roof. His plans are thwarted when he meets a mysterious individual named Shin, who promises to instill a sense of purpose in him.
