Synopsis
Continues the story of Qin's Moon: The Great Wall
Following the destruction of the Mechanical City and the Mohists' near-total defeat, the Qin Empire pursues peace and prosperity by undertaking massive construction efforts, including the building of the Great Wall and other large-scale initiatives. Tensions rise in the city when a mysterious giant vessel, the Mirage, appears off the coastline. Rebels from Shanghai band together to thwart the Emperor's ambitions. The Emperor's forces—comprising the Quicksand group, the Yin-Yang School, the Net Trap Organization, and the swordsman Shengqi—face off against a rebel alliance made up of Mohists, Confucianists, and Taoists. Tianming, the leader of the Mohists, continues to encounter mounting obstacles as he advances in his studies and training.
In this installment
The fifth season of Qin Shi Mingyue continues the conflict between the Mohists and their allies against the Qin Empire in Sanghai, with Crown Prince Fusu playing a prominent role. A new character from the Taoist school's Heaven clan, their leader Xiaomeng, appears on the side of the Qin. The Peasant School takes on a major role as the leaders of its six Halls struggle for supremacy and to become the Xia Kui successor. The young and powerful General Zhang Han and the Shadow Division also make their entrance. Wei Zhuang and the Quicksand Group form an uneasy alliance with the Mohists and attempt to enlist the aid of the warring Peasant School. Tianming, Shaoyu, and Shi Lan continue their search for Yue-er aboard the ship Mirage.
