Origin: Spirits of the Past

Synopsis

In a world devastated three centuries ago by a failed genetic experiment that turned Earth's forests into hostile beings, humanity struggles to survive. Set in Neutral City, a fragile refuge surrounded by the advancing woods, Agito lives with his father. One day while collecting water, Agito discovers an ancient artifact: a sleeping girl named Toola Cm Sacl, preserved within a mysterious device. After awakening her, Agito brings Toola back to the village, unaware that she possesses the ability to heal the planet. However, Shunack, a soldier from the previous era driven by a grudge against the sentient forests, lures Toola away. Determined to rescue Toola and mend the divide between humans and nature, Agito harnesses the forest's power to pursue them.
