Aragne no Mushikago
アラーニェの虫籠
Synopsis
Continues the story of The Feast of Amrita
While walking home from high school, Tamahi and several of her classmates witness a startling figure plummet from the roof of a nearby apartment building. Overcome with confusion and fear, they hurry toward the building only to find it strangely deserted. Trying to process what happened, Tamahi grows increasingly uneasy with the feeling that something is watching them. What mysterious presence is lurking?
In this installment
There is something deeply unsettling about the apartment that university student Rin has just moved into—and its shabby, run-down state is only the beginning. A heavy, oppressive atmosphere hangs over the place, filling Rin with the uneasy sensation that unseen eyes are watching her from every corner. The neighborhood offers no comfort either. Between unsettling figures wandering the streets on mysterious errands, strange religious groups, and whispers of a serial killer on the loose, staying shut inside behind locked doors would seem like the safest option. But what if the true threat lies within those very walls? There is no way out for Rin—or for the secrets she carries—and the most terrifying thing about the gruesome incidents unfolding in her apartment is the nightmare creatures who carry them out.
Background
