In Yokohama's Minato Mirai district, the talk of the town is the Pretty Cures' victory over Fusion. Girls all over the city are dressing up and mimicking their beloved Cures. Only Sakagami Ayumi, the newly transferred student, remains on her own. Walking home from school one day, Ayumi comes across a strange creature. She names it Fu-Chan, and the two quickly grow close. But Fu-Chan is actually a fragment of Fusion, carrying the power of darkness within. Wanting to bring joy to Ayumi, Fu-Chan begins devouring everything she dislikes—throwing the school and the entire city into chaos! To convey Ayumi's true feelings to Fu-Chan, all 28 Pretty Cures unite once more. When their powers converge, a miraculous light begins to shine.

One day, the Pretty Cures receive an invitation to a party held in their honor. Everyone heads to the party venue, the school of fairies, but a mysterious shadow awaits them there. The shadow steals their transformation objects! What can they do? If the Cures cannot transform, they are in serious trouble. If this continues, the school, our world, and everything else will be devoured by that shadow. The 32 Pretty Cures will fight to protect everyone.
