Synopsis
In Yuurei Yashiki, a U.S. ambassador moves his family into an old castle, only to discover that Simon—a ghost condemned to three hundred years of suffering for a past offense—haunts the place. In spite of the supernatural resident, the family keeps their cheerful attitude and interacts with the spirit. The father gives Simon a present, the sons enjoy pillow fights and pranks, and the daughter, Virginia, offers him kindness and forgiveness. These friendly gestures baffle Simon, who is accustomed to being feared and loathed.
