Sasaki and Miyano
Sasaki to Miyano
佐々木と宮野
Synopsis
In the blistering heat of summer, Yoshikazu Miyano's life is turned upside down when Shuumei Sasaki appears. Sasaki steps in to stop a classmate of Miyano's from being bullied, which leads to an unwelcome yet persistent presence in Miyano's daily life. At first, Miyano quietly respects Sasaki, but that quickly becomes irritation as the older student—rumored to be a delinquent—keeps invading his personal space and calling him by affectionate nicknames. Miyano, who is shy and prone to blushing, has a secret he's terrified of others discovering: his love for "fudanshi" manga, which focus on romantic relationships between men. Despite his best efforts to keep it hidden, Miyano accidentally reveals his interest to Sasaki. Sasaki then curiously asks to borrow one of Miyano's books. Reluctantly, Miyano agrees, and is surprised to find that Sasaki enjoys the BL manga and requests more, signaling a change in their unusual connection. As time goes on, Sasaki's motives grow murkier, yet his feelings for Miyano appear to deepen. With their newfound shared passion, their relationship starts to bloom and evolve in unexpected ways.
