Synopsis
In the kingdom, young Prince Bojji suffers the mockery of his people, who label him "The Useless Prince" due to his inability to hear or speak. While Bojji lacks physical power, he harbors an unyielding spirit. A chance meeting with a shadow creature that would terrify others allows him to discover a friend who looks beyond his perceived flaws. Bojji begins to meet regularly with Kage, the shadow, and even this typically hostile entity starts to treat him with kindness. This improbable bond guides the prince on a journey to overcome his fears and doubts. Despite facing constant ridicule, Bojji stays resolute in his ambition to become the greatest king possible.
Background
The sign language depicted in Ousama Ranking is supervised by the Tokyo Foundation of the Deaf. The series was released on Blu-ray and DVD from January 12, 2022 to July 20, 2022.
