Synopsis
In episode 12, titled "Chapter Chitose," Yurine Hanazono proposes a trip to Chitose, Hokkaido after seeing a TV commercial for the area. Jashin-chan is reluctant but is forced to go along when Yurine threatens her with a chainsaw. Near the end of their sightseeing day, Jashin-chan accidentally lets a stray deer eat the ticket needed for their hotel check-in. Coincidentally, the fallen angels are also vacationing in Hokkaido and staying at the same hotel. When they encounter each other, Jashin-chan must compete in a race around Lake Shikotsu to win back the angels' ticket.
Background
Jashin-chan Dropkick': Chitose-hen was funded through the Chitose Hometown tax program. The initiative set out to raise 20 million yen for Chitose, Hokkaido, but ended up raising over 184 million yen. A limited-edition Blu-ray including the special was given as a gift to selected program donors.
