KADO: The Right Answer

Synopsis

In the anime "Kado: The Right Answer," Koujirou Shindou, a composed and rational government official celebrated for his negotiating talents, finds himself in a bizarre predicament while on a business trip. A massive cube appears from nowhere, absorbing his plane whole within its impenetrable walls. While Japanese authorities probe the cube's nature and source, Shindou meets an alien being called Yaha-kui zaShunina, who has taken human shape. Yaha-kui guarantees the passengers' well-being and asks Shindou to help him communicate with humanity. Originating from a multidimensional realm dubbed Novo, Yaha-kui zaShunina employs a cube named Kado to transmit information between Novo and Earth. Though endowed with extraordinary abilities, he shows no hostility, claiming his purpose is to "advance" human society, commencing with Japan.
