Synopsis
The once-thriving Tearmoon Empire collapses under economic devastation, a lethal plague, and widespread famine, igniting a rebellion from both its own citizens and foreign allies that ultimately brings down the empire. Among the fallen is Princess Mia Luna Tearmoon, the empire's famously self-indulgent princess, who endures three years of captivity before being executed. Yet by a stroke of luck, Mia is reborn in her twelve-year-old body, retaining all her memories of the future. Still feeling the phantom edge of the guillotine, she vows to change her fate. Using her knowledge of events to come, Mia enacts reforms and cultivates a loyal circle of followers, unintentionally winning the hearts of her people and earning a reputation as a saint.
