Synopsis
In the 1800s, humanity has mastered the ability to reanimate corpses, creating undead servants without individuality or emotion. These bodies can be directed to perform various tasks but lack the vital essence known as the soul. Despite this limitation, rumors circulate about Dr. Victor Frankenstein, whose disappearance followed his pioneering work in corpse reanimation. It is said that he managed to resurrect a single body that retains its soul. Driven by a promise to his deceased companion, Friday, medical student John Watson embarks on a quest to uncover the secret behind Frankenstein's lost knowledge. Recruited by a government agency, Watson aims to obtain Frankenstein’s notes, believing they hold the key to understanding the soul. As he delves deeper into the dark world of corpse manipulation, Watson uncovers disturbing realities and confronts the steep price of advancing his research.
