Synopsis

Chinese-Japanese anime adaptation of the classic novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms." Liu Bei sets out on a quest to suppress the turmoil ravaging his native land, accompanied by his sworn brothers, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu. Commanding only a modest force and lacking any territory, Liu Bei is compelled to assume a subordinate position under other generals, a necessity to shield himself from the relentless threats against his life.
