Synopsis

Produced in August 1974 for Yomiuri Television executives, this short film serves as the pilot for Uchuu Senkan Yamato. It remained unseen by the public for 16 years until its inclusion in the Uchuu Senkan Yamato LD Box Set. Subsequent DVD and BD releases also included the pilot, though some audio elements were omitted due to copyright complications that emerged between the LD and DVD/BD eras.
