Synopsis
Super Grand Prix centers on thrilling wheel-based racing. Takaya Todoroki, a young dreamer aiming to become a famous racer, builds his own vehicle to enter a high-stakes competition offering a large cash prize. Tragedy hits during the race when his homemade car, flawed in construction, crashes severely—yet Takaya emerges miraculously unharmed. Soon after, a mysterious racer contacts Takaya, inviting him to join a prestigious racing team. This elusive figure, once a celebrated racer, reappears sporadically to mentor Takaya, guiding him toward his destiny and toward achieving success that the mentor themselves could not attain.
