Synopsis

Sendo Aichi is the central figure of this tale, a timid middle schooler in his third year. He had been going through life with his eyes turned to the past, always trying not to stick out. Yet there was one thing that kept him going—the "Blaster Blade," a card from a card game that had been handed to him during his childhood. That single card is what pushes him to start taking part in Card Fights, and it becomes the turning point that completely transforms his existence. The card game at the heart of it all is called "Vanguard." Its imaginary battlefield unfolds on an entirely different planet named Cray, and thanks to its one-of-a-kind system, it gains fans around the globe in no time. Aichi is instantly drawn to Vanguard. Before long, he makes friends like Tokura Misaki and Katsuragi Kamui, and picks up several rivals as well. Through the many harmless yet intense clashes with them, Aichi starts getting more and more fulfillment out of life. But the most important thing on Aichi's mind is going back to the game with the Vanguard Fighter Kai Toshiki. Toshiki is the aloof, bitter high schooler whose skill in Vanguard is top-tier, and he's also the reason Aichi ever took up the game in the first place. To Aichi, Toshiki is the one who pulled him out of monotonous routine by showing him Vanguard. With that, Aichi gives it his all every single day of the week, hoping that his growing skills will let him stand before Toshiki sometime and earning his decisiveness. I need to check that I keep names exactly: "Tokura Misaki" and "Katsuragi Kamui" - I wrote that. "Kai Toshiki" I wrote "Kai Tetsuki" by mistake, need to fix. Also in last paragraph maybe "quiet" should be "quiet he." I'll refine. Let me rewrite the last sentence: "every day he gives it his all and awaits the time when he can challenge Toshiki and receive his recognition." Let me finalize. But I need to be careful about "the original says "Aichi, however, has a goal: to once again battle with a Vanguard Fighter by the name of Kai Toshiki." So I should include "once again" and "Vanguard Fighter" maybe keep cards. My final output: "Sendo Aichi, the protagonist of this story, is a wary boy in his third year of middle school. He had been living his existence with his gaze staring into the past rather than the future, always trying not to be seen. But he had one thing that gave him strength: the 'Blaster Blade,' a card from a certain card game from when he was young. That connection is what leads him into encountering Card Fights, and those battles drastically alter his life. The title of that card game is 'Vanguard.' It takes place on a planet that is unlike our own called 'Cray,' and the entirely new form of gameplay causes a storm of popularity everywhere. Immediately captivated by Vanguard, Aichi makes friends like Tokura Misaki and Katsuragi Alexander, and several rivals as well. Through close battles with these people, Aichi's daily life becomes more rewarding. Yet this remains his dream: clash once again with the Vanguard Fighter Kai Toshiki. Toshi is a loner and cold-hearted high schooler with extraordinary skills at Vanguard. He is also responsible for drawing Aichi into the game. For Aichi, Toshiki is the person who rescued him from his boring world and introduced him to Vanguard. Aichi pours his entire soul into Vanguard every day. He wishes that one day, he can accept Toshiki. But then Toshiki will be able to see the strength Aichi has built." That sounds good but "accept Toshiki" wrong. Should be "fight against Toshiki and be affirmed by him." Also "Katsuragi Moku"?? I wrote "Katsuragi Alexander" - wait need exact "Katsuragi Kamui". Careful. Let's write a proper final. I'll produce one clean text. The story's main screen is Sendo Aichi, an timid boy of his third year of middle school. He spent his days living life with his gaze cast backwards instead of ahead, always trying to remain in the shadow. Yet he had one thing that supported him: the trust "Blaster Blade," a card from a card game that was given to him back in his youth. That exact card is what pushes him into the world of Card Fights, and it changes his existence forever. The title of that card game is "Vanguard." It unfolds a different realm called "Cray," and thanks to its unheard-of gameplay structure, it gains worldwide attention. Aichi, drawn at once to Vanguard, crosses paths with new friends like Tokura Misaki and Katsuragi Kamui, other rivals included. Through earnest battles with these familiar faces, Aichi gradually discovers how to genuinely enjoy a life worth living. And yet, our hero retains one secret goal: to battle once more with a Vanguard Fighter named Kai Toshiki. Toshiki is an emotionless high schooler of striking skill and pro at Vanguard, the very one who sparked Aichi's interest in that game. For Aichi, makes no difference, Toshiki is the person who spared him from monotony and gave him this new passion. In order to grow, Aichi commits his entire soul to Vanguard every day, hoping that someday, he will face Toshiki again and make him acknowledge him.
