Robot Town Sagami 2028

Synopsis

Produced in collaboration with Tezuka Productions and the Kanagawa Industrial Labor Bureau, this promotional anime envisions a future where humans and robots live together in harmony. In 2016, Takao falls into a coma after a sudden accident, during which Atom appears and invites him to witness the future. The story then shifts to 2028, where Takao's hometown of Sagami has become a technologically advanced robot city. There, Takao observes and follows his wife and daughter as they adjust to this futuristic world. How does Takao's outlook shift as he comes to understand that this future has no place for him?
