Synopsis
Nine animated adaptations of Jim Woodring's Frank comic series are included in this compilation, employing various techniques like CGI, traditional cel animation, stop-motion, and sand painting. The animators and musicians featured are COCOA, Eri Yoshimura, Naomi Nagata, TAMAPRO/DROP, Taruto Fuyama, Masaki Maito, Kanako Kawagushi, Masaya Sakaue, Bill Frisell, Dame Darcy, and Woodring.
Background
The second episode, made by Taruto Fuyama, was the winner of the Excellence Award on the 7th Japan Media Arts Festival.
