Synopsis
Title: Adventure Without a Map Miki runs a bakery that isn't attracting many customers, and she can't put her finger on what's missing from her sweets. Kazuki, meanwhile, is drafting a curry-related report for his company when a colleague confronts him about his flawed angle on the assignment. As Kazuki shadows the coworker to uncover his technique, the two wind up hitting a pachinko parlor and a sushi spot. On a parallel route, Miki and her friend roam the city too, stopping at a fashion show, that same pachinko parlor, and a restaurant. After their chat, Kazuki flashes back to a childhood scene of a red sky he painted, a time when being different didn't make him feel like a loose thread. Miki's companion reminds her that real original thinking demands nerve. That triggers Miki's own memory of standing in the snow with her father, who said that you have to do the dull chores to go on fighting through the tough times and come out with something real. Miki tinkers in the kitchen with new recipes while Kazuki digs into real-world investigation. Then Kazuki and Miki both take their distinct creative instincts back to their fields and begin to get the results they were reaching for.
