Synopsis
In the aftermath of a devastating war, three young women serve as soldiers in a cold, barren landscape covered in snow. Their mission is to search the frozen wasteland for survivors of the Iron Army—eerie, deformed weapons that were once human. Gros and especially the inexperienced Leichte look up to Esus, who is stronger and wiser than they are. Yet Esus has her own flaws and unhealed emotional scars. Somewhere out in the vast, deadly ocean of snow lie the answers—both to Esus' suffering and to the terrible secret behind this war.
