Synopsis
In a world where drugs are prohibited, a band of heroes assembles to pursue an enigmatic creature. The group consists of the wandering swordsman Shao Xia, the pharmacist Wuming who suffers from memory loss, the fervent law enforcer Susu, and the palace-appointed healer Xu Changqing. As their journey advances, they expose sinister secrets concealed within the city. Navigating through deception and the brutal truths of authority, they are forced to decide between placing faith in one another or succumbing to treachery, all while striving to safeguard themselves and the blameless in a society teetering on the brink of collapse.
