Appare-Ranman!
天晴爛漫!
Synopsis
Appare Soranno, an inventor from a small Japanese village in the late 1800s who struggles with social interaction, holds grand dreams. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by steamships that connect faraway lands, leading him to build numerous machines using scientific texts. He aspires to travel across oceans, fly through the sky, and even reach the far side of the moon. A series of unfortunate events leaves Appare stranded at sea on his small steamship. With him is Kosame Ishikki, a capable yet timid samurai assigned to manage Appare's unusual behavior. Just when their situation seems dire, a large steamship rescues them and brings them to Los Angeles. Without money or a clear plan, they decide to join the "Trans-America Wild Race." This gives Appare a chance to build his own vehicle, while Kosame sees it as an opportunity to win the prize money needed to return home. But with formidable opponents and hidden dangers in the wilderness, how far will this journey take Appare and Kosame?
