Synopsis

In the virtual reality game The New Gate, countless players were trapped within its digital world. Determined to set them all free, top player Shinya Kiritani vowed to clear the game. After single-handedly defeating the final boss, Shinya was unexpectedly transported to a realm strikingly similar to the one he had just escaped. Even after his victory, Shinya finds that his game interface and skills remain active, indicating he cannot simply log out. While striving to find a way out of this new dimension, Shinya meets Tiera Lucent, a hotel receptionist who is the apprentice of Schnee Raizar, an old companion from his gaming days. This encounter offers a glimmer of hope, spurring Shinya to rekindle his connection with Schnee and uncover the secrets behind The New Gate.
