Synopsis
"Light Catcher" is an initiative by bilibili aimed at supporting Chinese original animation. For professional animation teams, independent animation teams, and animation enthusiasts, the Capsules project, Cosmoses project, and Ores project are introduced to identify outstanding works and teams. By providing a platform to showcase works and supporting opportunities, bilibili hopes to encourage more talented individuals to engage in animation production. The short film centers on a protagonist running forward as its main theme. The continuously evolving painting style, along with the setbacks and assistance the protagonist encounters while running, symbolizes the growth of novice animators through ongoing self-learning and reliance on the people around them for support, until their final work is seen by the world.
