Synopsis
In "Mister Ajikko," young culinary genius Ajiyoshi Youichi helps his mother run their small restaurant. When food critic Murata Genjiro stops by and tastes Youichi's expertly made katsu-don, he is amazed by its outstanding flavor and careful preparation. Deeply impressed, Genjiro invites Youichi to join a cooking competition at the Aji-oh Building. There, Youichi challenges the building's Italian chef, Marui, to a spaghetti battle. By applying original cooking ideas and a sincere desire to create wonderful dining experiences, Youichi wins the match. After this success, Youichi faces many more opponents, each determined to surpass the others in crafting the most delicious dishes and flavors.
