Sagaken wo Meguru Animation (2017)

Synopsis

Japan's Saga Prefecture is continuing its campaign to welcome tourists through two brand-new animated shorts, titled "Tadaima" (I'm Home) and "Okaeri" (Welcome Back). "Tadaima" follows Mei, a Thai exchange student, who arrives at Saga station feeling completely disoriented. She boards a bus, and through encounters with the local residents at each stop along the way, she slowly pieces together her own "treasured moments." "Okaeri" centers on Sora, a high-school senior aiming to turn pro at soccer. When an injury cuts off any shot at making it in Tokyo, Sora turns to the city of Karatsu in Saga Prefecture for a new chance.
