Synopsis

A Chinese Ghost Story follows Ning, a young man who turns to work as a debt collector after losing his girlfriend, hoping to distract himself from his troubles. But his new line of work drags him into far stranger circumstances than he ever expected. Together with his ever-present sidekick Solid Gold, Ning winds up in a ghost town, and from there his real adventure begins. The film draws on classic Chinese myths and folklore, carrying viewers through a world filled with romance, high-stakes drama, and clashes between the forces of good and evil.
