Synopsis
In the summer of 1976, 11-year-old Giuliana "Giulia" Bianchi lives happily in the small northern Italian town of Seveso until a chemical factory mishap covers the town in a strange white powder, causing widespread alarm. With the company behind the plant refusing to comment on the event, Giulia teams up with her friends to investigate and uncover the truth. As local wildlife begins to die and residents suffer serious health problems, the urgency to find answers intensifies. Enlisting the help of Japanese reporter Shirou Andou, the group aims to shine a light on the environmental disaster and bring the guilty corporation to justice.
