Synopsis
In the 12th century, Kurou, an expert swordsman, flees from dangerous pursuers and finds shelter in a dense forest with his ally Benkei. There, they meet Kuromitsu, a mysterious and alluring woman living alone. She lets them stay but warns them never to enter her private room. Curiosity and perhaps a deadly attraction lead Kurou to disobey her order, and he discovers Kuromitsu drinking the blood of dead men, unveiling her identity as an immortal vampire. He chooses to remain with her, even becoming a vampire himself to secure their eternal bond. However, Benkei is recruited by the mysterious Red Army and betrays Kurou, cutting off his head. Centuries later, Kurou awakens in a ruined, futuristic Japan and sets off to find Kuromitsu again and exact vengeance upon the Red Army.
