Continues the story of Hamtaro: Hamtaro's Birthday! - 3000 Hammy Steps in Search of Mommy
Laura informs Hamtaro about his origins, though she herself does not believe the story. Around his birthday, Hamtaro journeys with Boss and Oxnard to meet his mother and confirm whether Laura's account is true, while the rest of the Ham-Hams organize a surprise party for him.
In this installment
When Laura goes off to summer camp, Hamtaro and Oxnard meet a young girl named Haibi, who is searching for the ocean. Haibi discovered a treasure map while looking through the storage burrow and now wants to find the treasure to assist her granny, who is suffering from heat exhaustion. The Ham-Hams are eager to help Haibi, so they gather their belongings and embark on a quest to find the treasure.
