Synopsis

In the near future, the world's climate shifts, giving rise to a constant super cyclone in the Western Pacific known as the Grand Roar, which alters the earth and submerges most nations. Maritime transport and navigation become vital to countries, and with the emergence of ocean pirates, companies are forced to hire escort cruisers to protect their assets. Hyousuke Nagimiya, a systems engineer, is commissioned to upgrade the Pascal Magi, a vessel operated by an all-female crew under captain Misaki Nanaha. The crew works together to prove to their detractors that they are no mere "Alice Brand." Yet as they carry out their mission, a larger global conspiracy appears to be maneuvering behind the scenes, seeking to take advantage of this new world order.
