Synopsis
Set in 2050, the global climate has drastically changed. On a rainy day, TAMALA rescues a honeybee from drowning in a street gutter. That bee is Kuronosuke, the final bee belonging to the cat world, and he invites TAMALA on a magical journey that travels backward through time and into the near future. This journey presents a vast panorama of the biodiversity of animals and plants throughout Earth's history. However, as the modern era arrives, civilization has been wasting and destroying nature. Eventually, they wander across a barren land where all animals have gone extinct. When TAMALA is on the verge of death with no food left, Kuronosuke offers himself as food so that she may survive.
