Synopsis

Continues the story of Saint Beast: Angel Chronicles

In ancient times, Zeus established a ranking system among angels, dividing them into upper, middle, and lower tiers, even though they were originally meant to be equal. He also appointed six angels as the Saint Beasts to watch over the creatures of Earth: Go the seiyu, Shin the genbu, Rei the suzaku, Guy the byakko, Yuda the kirin, and Ruka the hooh. Meanwhile, two other angels—Kira the shooting star and Maya the fuga—bypassed the selection and departed for Earth. The six Saint Beasts carried out their duties faithfully, but as Zeus’s rule grew increasingly oppressive, their trust in him started to weaken.

In this installment

The seal that held the fallen angels Kirin no Yuda and Houou no Ruka has been shattered, and the two decide to take revenge on the God who cast them into Hell by destroying the Heavens they once belonged to. Soon, guardian angels on Earth start vanishing, with no one in Heaven able to explain the disappearances. However, a vengeful animal spirit is suspected to be behind it, leading to the summoning of the four Saint Beasts to investigate. The 4 Gods of Beasts attempt to rescue the missing guardian angels while uncovering the true nature of this malevolent animal spirit.
