Synopsis

Continues the story of Jade Dynasty

Zhang Xiaofan, left an orphan in a single night, was taken in as a student of the Qingyun Sect. Following five years of diligent training, he performed exceptionally well in the Seven Meridians Tournament of his school and was dispatched to Mount Kongsang to monitor the Demon Sect's activities. Along the way, he and his classmate Lu Xueqi faced peril, rescued the demon cultivator Biyao, and formed a friendship with her. Yet, fresh perils lie ahead for him.

Ten years after the great battle between light and darkness, Zhang Xiaofan—now using the name Gui Li—contends with internal discord among the demon clan. In the midst of this chaos, a precious artifact surfaces from the Death Swamp, igniting rivalry between various factions. Gui Li crosses paths once more with Lu Xueqi, and their tangled feelings of affection and resentment grow stronger. Later, Gui Li probes the puzzling disappearance of his subordinates at Fenxiang Valley, where he inadvertently releases the nine-tailed celestial fox, Xiao Bai, and uncovers hints regarding the ancient witch lineage. After several brush-with-death experiences, Gui Li convinces a mighty spirit-summoning sorcerer to assist him in his mission to cure Bi Yao. What destiny lies ahead for his long-cherished goal...?
