Synopsis

Ever since that day, she had given up on what lay ahead. In 2021, Asumi worked as a sales representative at Kobe Steel, struggling to find any real purpose in her daily duties while feeling powerless against the many problems piling up within the company. Right as she was about to announce her resignation to her boss, a strange light emerged from a corporate history book, pulling her back to Kobe in the year 1905. There, she met a group of spirited, forward-thinking people from the company's early days. Among them was Torasuke, a clumsy yet passionate young man from the Meiji era, full of grand dreams and unwavering faith in the power of industry. With the history of the Kobelco Group as their guide, the two travelers from different centuries follow its story from the very beginning all the way to the present. Along the way, they witness how people endured hardship after hardship, always pushing forward, holding onto hope for a brighter tomorrow. Moved by the determination of those who came before, each of them ultimately finds the path they wish to take from that point on.
