Synopsis

Tarou Yamada is a first-year high school student who once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player. That ambition was crushed by the overwhelming skill of Haruka Kiyomine and Kei Kaname, a pitching and catching duo known as the "General." Their extraordinary abilities and tactical brilliance dominated middle school baseball, leaving Yamada and many other aspiring players feeling defeated. Now attending the unremarkable Kotesashi High School, which has no baseball team, Yamada finds himself in the same class as Kiyomine and Kaname, who has become forgetful. The once-strategic General has turned into a loud and playful class clown due to amnesia. Because Kaname lost interest in baseball, he convinced the reluctant Kiyomine to enroll at Kotesashi simply because it was close to their home. When Kotesashi High School starts a new baseball club, Yamada encounters former teammates who have also given up on the sport. Despite their current lack of enthusiasm, Yamada believes that if he can rekindle their love for baseball, they might achieve their long-held goal of winning a national championship. The only challenge is Kaname's constant jokes and antics.
