Thunderbolt Fantasy: Sword Travels in the East

Synopsis

In an Eastern-styled fantasy world, a brother and sister duo serving as sacred guardians faces an assault from the Xuan Gui Zong, minions of Miè Tian Hai who covet the Tian Xing Jiàn sword in their possession. Hai's arrival results in the brother's defeat, forcing his sister, Dan Fei, to leap from a cliff to secure temporary safety. Later, a wandering swordsman discovers a ruined temple where a Buddha statue is shielded from rain by an umbrella. Upon taking the umbrella for himself, a man resting beneath a nearby tree informs him that he must show compassion to the next traveler he encounters as payment. That traveler proves to be Dan Fei, still pursued by the Xuan Gui Zong minions. Caught between his solemn promise and the enemy's sorcery, the wanderer finds himself unable to remain uninvolved.
