Despite the tense atmosphere, the negotiations end on a positive note, allowing Rimuru to get back to his educational duties. Yet, as he tries to head back to Tempest permanently, he encounters a mysterious figure able to completely nullify his immense magical abilities. At the same time, an unknown human group launches a brutal attack on Tempest, targeting both its leaders and common citizens. Having ascended to True Demon Lord status, Rimuru Tempest adopts a more aggressive stance against Clayman.
