Sinbad, the legendary sailor from the tales of the Arabian Nights, has a dream about setting sail for an uncharted realm. Accompanied by his pet monkey Mimi, he comes across Sana, a young girl soaring through the sky atop a wooden horse that can fly. "The wind has changed direction…."

While sailing aboard the ship Bahal, Sinbad and his crew encounter a fierce storm. When land is sighted, Ali steers them toward an island so they can make repairs. Sinbad and Sana then take a smaller boat to go ashore. After Sana experiences a vision of a magical lamp, Sinbad and the others set out to locate it.
