Synopsis

In "Zatsu Tabi: That's Journey," 18-year-old aspiring mangaka Chika Suzugamori faces a series of rejections after submitting three drafts in a single day. Her editor suggests she weave her own hobbies into her work, but Chika spends most of her time focused on creating manga and rarely goes outside. Feeling lost and uncertain, she decides to take a spontaneous trip to find her path. After running a simple online poll, Chika makes an impulsive choice to board a train heading north from Tokyo. Reaching the summit of Mount Haguro in Aizu-Wakamatsu, she gains a new outlook and a revived sense of motivation. Despite the possibility of future obstacles, Chika resolves to continue exploring Japan, joined by both fresh and familiar faces along the way.
