Synopsis

Narumi Fujishima appears to be an ordinary high school student, but in reality he is a disheartened loner. Because of his father's job, Narumi changes schools often and has difficulty finding a place where he fits in. When his cheerful classmate, Ayaka Shinozaki, pressures him into joining the gardening club, Narumi meets Alice, a reclusive yet talented hacker who lives above Hanamaru, the ramen shop where Ayaka works part-time. Alice runs a private investigation agency, and her team identifies themselves as "NEETs"—people Not in Education, Employment, or Training. As Narumi gets involved in a criminal case that affects his personal life, he decides to join Alice's detective agency. He soon becomes caught up in a series of dangerous cases with this unusual group of investigators, all while trying to uncover the connections between Alice and a mysterious crime syndicate.
