Synopsis

Mari Tamaki has long been captivated by the mysteries of the universe, yet her own anxieties have kept her from pursuing this passion. Upon entering her second year of high school, she resolves to seize her remaining youth and finally act on her dreams. Her life shifts when she encounters Shirase Kobuchizawa, a determined girl searching for the truth behind her mother's disappearance. Shirase intends to travel to Antarctica, believing the answers lie in a place beyond the known universe, even as she faces widespread doubt and ridicule. Inspired by Shirase's resolve, Mari chooses to join her. Soon, Hinata Miyake, who craves adventure and fame, and Yuzuki Shiraishi, a polite girl from a wealthy background, also decide to join the expedition. United by their individual yet profound aspirations, the four young women set off for the remote Antarctic, each seeking something deeply meaningful.
