Synopsis

Following a routine raid, novice sky pirate Coud discovers an extraordinary find among his crew's loot: Ren, an Edel Reid—a revered race known for granting unique combat abilities to their human partners through a process called "Reacting." Coud soon realizes Ren is even more valuable than he initially thought. Shortly after, three agents from the Edel Reid Complete Protection Agency, Arc Aire, board the ship with an offer to buy Ren. When Coud refuses, a sudden and mysterious attack strikes the vessel, prompting his captain to order him to protect Ren.
