Synopsis

After Earth was destroyed, the legendary clockmaker Y built a new world made entirely of gears and cogs. Naoto Miura is a young boy who dreams of becoming a master clockmaker and has an unusual gift—he can understand clockwork mechanisms just by listening to them. Despite this talent, he has not made much progress. His life changes drastically when a coffin crashes into his apartment, revealing RyuZU, an automaton created by Y himself. RyuZU's arrival attracts Marie Bell Breguet, a gifted descendant of a famous family of clockmakers, along with her cyborg protector, Vainney Halter. As Naoto and Marie get caught in a dangerous fight for survival, they uncover a troubling secret: the clockwork planet that has supported human life for over a thousand years is starting to break down, and some people will go to any lengths to keep this hidden.
