Synopsis

Directed by Keita Kurosaka, "Agitated Screams of Maggots" came out in 2006 as a music video for the single of the same name by the Japanese rock band DIR EN GREY. The piece employs a hand-drawn, traditional animation style, blending erotic and grotesque elements. Its unique visual approach drew attention, leading to a screening at the 2007 International Film Festival Rotterdam.
