Synopsis

Gaku Kitada has always been passionate about mathematics, harboring dreams of competing in the Olympiad and eventually becoming a renowned mathematician at the University of Tokyo while attending the elite Wels Academy. However, his anxiety and lack of self-confidence hamper his efforts, causing him to fail in qualifying for the main competition and ultimately deciding to stop participating in future contests—a choice that leads to his expulsion from the academy. During this challenging time, Gaku encounters Kai Asakura, a talented chef who notices Gaku's unique approach of applying mathematical principles to create balanced dishes. Though hesitant at first, Gaku starts utilizing his mathematical abilities in cooking, rekindling his love for the subject. Driven by this fresh passion, Gaku shifts his career path to combine numbers with cuisine, aiming to satisfy both his intellectual curiosity and the culinary cravings of his customers.
