Synopsis
Ever since their parents passed away a few years ago, Ryo and his sister Akane have been living by themselves. In spite of their tough circumstances, they're managing a fairly content and ordinary life. But soon, everything is about to be turned completely upside down because of a secret government initiative. With Japan facing extremely low birth rates, the government is trying out a program that forces two young people to get married. Ryo wants nothing to do with it, yet he has almost no say in the matter; his new fiancée, Shizuka, arrives at his house late one night accompanied by dozens of government-issued bodyguards, all present to make sure the new couple succeeds. Unlike Ryo, Shizuka is perfectly happy to go along with this program, and enthusiastically starts performing her wifely duties, despite his protests. Between meddlesome friends, pushy bodyguards, and an overly eager new fiancée, Ryo's life has taken an unexpected turn that the young man certainly never saw coming.
