Synopsis
In the game he loved, Toshiaki Gozu always held a deep admiration for the demon king Evelogia, the despised main antagonist whom everyone loathed but who suffered from a lifelong solitude. After his own past actions resulted in his death at the hands of a yakuza, Toshiaki is reborn in a room strongly resembling the one from the game, where Evelogia resides. Overjoyed by this development, he soon realizes that his fate is to become Evelogia's assassin. Refusing to accept that destiny, Toshiaki instead decides to side with the demon king. For the first time, Evelogia gains a reliable companion, which profoundly moves him emotionally. However, their attempt to lead a normal life faces obstacles: Evelogia struggles with overwhelming, uncontrollable destructive power, and Toshiaki becomes increasingly obsessed with his newfound friend.
